A knight to remember..

In an instant, you made your way to me

Caught my attention and made me want to see

All the more adventures of this life and glee

Away from every stress, with you I'll be free

Never been this excited to talk about the future

Of what lies ahead and those we have to endure

This chance and choices we need to ensure

All these possibilities, I think I'm ready to secure

Your words shed hope that perhaps I may be wanted

That once more, I am seen and one can be attracted

Dazzled to that little light that made me distracted,

Maybe, just maybe, now, one won't take me for granted 

For the record, affirmations are my greatest weakness

Yet you knew how to capitalize it into my happiness

Made me validated all the good things that I manifest

And all the more evaluated all the flaws I possessed

From known facts to personal details,

Each day we're able to share and unveil

Even the ones we can't divulge and entail

Hence, an exchange of trust that prevails

On top of this distance that separate us two

Our stories are heard including the present we do

Future plans and dreams, we're about to support too

Indeed, daily updates made us connected through

Let you in and considered all your opinions

Voiced out my take on your plans and visions

Each inputs were respected and valued on

Supported each other in every path and missions

Yet as each day comes, good and bad we see

The similarities and differences between you and me

This gap we had can't seem to complement thee

Sooner or later, we'll wonder why this has to be

These circumstances made it hard for us to comprehend

What we really mean and what we wanted to defend

Different perspectives and views started to transcend

Meddled between this connection that we believe has no end

As we approach a night where the light is fading
